Founded on the principle idea of self-investment, we strive to be an academy where you come to better yourself and all those around you, on and off the mat.
BJJ creates mental strength within its practitioners, forcing them to simulate physically uncomfortable situations and problem solve through them. People who have pushed through the emotional discomfort of being attacked can better handle a self defense situation in real-time.
view ScheduleWhile a fantastic combat art, BJJ also has great merit in terms of how it will help you move. Learning to grapple is great cardio, and moving your body while your back is on the ground builds strength in muscles you would never work out in the gym. It’s great for the core, back, glutes and legs, and helps to build endurance. Along the way you’ll gain all the individual traits that martial arts bring – such as humility and discipline as well as a bunch of amazing new friends.
view ScheduleCompetition Jiu-Jitsu is a chance to show how effective you are in combining your technical knowledge along with all of your physical and athletic abilities in order to win a match, or better, all of them in a tournament or super-fight setting.
view ScheduleBeing a Jiu-Jitsu instructor is a full time job that requires passion and dedication. Everyone can demonstrate martial arts techniques. However, not everyone is fit for the mantle of Jiu-Jitsu Instructor. The art requires a certain level of technical knowledge before one can even think about assuming a teaching role. Our instructors have many years of experience teaching and are still seeking out and acquiring more knowledge to pass on to our student body.
